Master Gunsmith and instructor, Bob Dunlap, takes us on an educational tour of Heckler and Koch’s very popular USP pistol. Bob utilizes a cutaway firearm and various other models of the Universal Self-loading Pistol to demonstrate the design and function of this reliable firearm. After covering the history of Heckler and Koch, we get to take a look at some of the differences between the “standard”, tactical, and compact models of the USP, to help you decide which model or models might be best suited to your needs. This Armorer’s course will enable you to disassemble and reassemble your pistol and avoid some frustrations and common mistakes that are often made by the novice pistolsmith. Bob cautions you about certain areas and jobs in regard to this particular firearm, like the safety features and doing “trigger jobs”.
